Documentation

Everything you need to get started with the Pepohon LeafCast platform.

Map & Locations

Help visitors find your products in person. LeafCast supports GPS location pins on every plant listing, plus a saved locations system for re-use across listings. Available on paid plans (Monthly and Exhibition) only.

Saved Locations

Save frequently used locations as presets (up to 20 per vendor). Each saved location has:

  • A label — e.g. "Kedai Utama Shah Alam"
  • GPS coordinates — latitude and longitude

Saved locations can be loaded instantly when creating or editing a plant listing, so you don't need to place a pin on the map every time.

Per-Listing GPS Pins

When creating or editing a listing, an interactive Leaflet map (powered by OpenStreetMap) lets you place a pin at your exact location:

  • Default view: centred on Malaysia at zoom level 6
  • Click anywhere on the map to place a draggable marker
  • Fine-tune the position by dragging the marker
  • Use the Saved Locations dropdown to load a preset
  • Save the current pin as a new preset for future use
  • Coordinates are displayed in monospace format and submitted with the form

GPS Validation

Latitude must be between -90 and 90. Longitude must be between -180 and 180. Invalid coordinates are rejected by the server.

What Visitors See

When a visitor scans your QR code, they see a "Find this plant" button on the botanical reveal page. Tapping it opens Google Maps with your coordinates, along with the location label you set (e.g. "Booth A3, MAHA 2026").

Free Tier

The Free plan does not include GPS location features. Location fields and the map are hidden from the create/edit form. Visitors scanning free-plan QR codes see the plant information without a location button.
